Active Material Air Locks make it possible to transfer products into clean rooms. A clean and low-turbulence air flow (Laminar Flow) vertically flows into the workspace of the material lock and is exhausted at table height (recirculation air) – air-borne substances are collected in a controlled manner.
The material lock serves as a barrier between grey room and clean room.
Passive Material Air Locks make it possible to transfer products into clean rooms, however, without air guidance.
